Original item: Only One Available. This is just the mounting bracket that actually marries the MG 42 Light Machine Gun to the mounting pipe on a WW2 Motorcycle sidecar or Vehicle. It is absolutely original and bears a Waffenamt inspection stamp and the German maker Code:- ecy, which stands for:- "Fouquet & Franz AG, Maschinen-U-Schraubenfabr., Rottenburg am Neckar." They manufactured various mounts for machine guns, including the much sought after Lafette mounts for the MG 34 and 42.It also bears serial numbered 5978 below the maker code.

The securing catch to the mounting pole is absent, but it is otherwise complete and comes complete with correct MG 42 fitting. Most of the original finish is missing, but traces can be seen in some locations. Ready to display or mount to your sidecar.
